Explorations

What is art? What can art do?

Exploration #1

This was an exploration of "taking pictures every time my cat sat on me this weekend" It was lovely, he is such a good boy but moves around a lot and it is very hard to get a clear picture.

Exploration #2

This weekend I put out my sketchbook for all to do what they wished. We celebrated my youngest brother's birthday on Saturday and my childhood best friend also stopped by this weekend and added her flare, I love her style.

Exploration #3

I explored my room this week, I spend a lot of time in here and decided to pause and really look at my choice of decoration, specifically what of my own work I displayed in my space. Then compared it to everything else I have on the walls.

Exploration #4

The concept was to pick out a piece from each year since I began to take art seriously (about 2012-2013) but it was so much harder than I thought. 1) I found out I never used to date my work so I could only start form 2015, and 2) it was impossible to pick 1 piece to represent a year of artistic and personal growth

Exploration #5

I was stumped on what to do for this last exploration. So instead I let the weekend unfold and took pictures of what I could. It ended up being a perfect little mix of my past explorations. Some of my cat, some of my art, and some help from the family
